Our story
Friends on screen, then for real
Jayne Kamara and Shawna Stewart were originally cast as best friends in the film Bite of a Mango. Their on-screen friendship became a genuine off-screen friendship — one that grew further through their work on the film Morningside and its press tour.
That friendship eventually inspired the creation of I Thought It Was Just Me.

Jayne Kamara is an actress you may have spotted on the big screen once or twice — the familiar face with the contagious laugh and perfectly timed one-liners. Quietly hilarious, she's the introvert who lights up around her people (relatable, *phew*).
